Attending A’19?

Here’s everything you need to know!

Here’s the info you need, all in one place, to have the best conference experience. Read it, save it, and contact us if you have any questions.

Getting ready to go to A’19

Pack a reusable water bottle & comfortable shoes

Daytime temperatures in Las Vegas will hit 100 degrees during conference. Please dress for the weather, and drink lots of water. Bring your reusable water bottle to one of the complimentary water stations AIA Las Vegas has set up across the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Although many sessions will be hosted inside the Las Vegas Convention Center, in air conditioning, some of the tours and other events will be hosted outside. We can’t say this enough: Stay hydrated! You’ll also be doing a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes.

If you’re taking a tour, please bring a hat, sunscreen, and close-toed shoes.

Finalize your schedule

This one is important because seats and sessions are selling out quickly. If you haven’t registered for all the sessions you’d like to attend, now is the time to do it.

If you’ve already registered for all your sessions, take one last look at your schedule and make sure it’s complete.

Be sure to check out ArchiTalks, sessions that take a critical look at important topics in architecture and discuss unconventional solutions, and B-School sessions, 14 sessions on business fundamentals plus a four-part practice innovation lab. There’s also the Pro Series, brilliant sessions by industry experts, firm principals, and other leaders who are achieving extraordinary results. Read more about these sessions >

The A’19 app

Use this app for everything: Update your schedule, register for sessions, connect with attendees through a live activity feed, use maps to navigate your walking route in the convention center and on the expo floor, and find info to help you get around Las Vegas. Available on Google Play and Apple App Store.
